I founded In the Moment Events with the Bride and Groom who want to add a more unique spin to the traditional wedding in mind. Whether you are looking for rolling hills or a beach location, live music or fire dancers, light hors d'oeuvres or hearty buffet dinner, cup cakes or piñata, we will work with you to make your dreams come true with your budget in mind. Most importantly, we make sure you get to be a guest at your own wedding while we take care of the behind the scenes details.

Growing up in Gothenburg, Sweden, I planned my first event in elementary school, inviting all my classmates to a day of sports, fun and ice cream. In my early 20s I spent a few months in Spain solidifying my event knowledge with a certificate course as a flight attendant and tour guide with the Spies University (founded by the European travel mogul Simon Spies).

Shortly after moving to the Bay Area in 1998, I started working in the field of hotel and restaurant management, which eventually brought me to Marines' Memorial Club, a Beau-Arts building in downtown San Francisco.  During my time with the club I helped over 300 couples fulfill their wedding dreams. In my last 10 years in hospitality, I have planned a multitude of events ranging from small city hall weddings, birthday parties, memorial services, multi day conferences, to a city parade and festival with 100,000 participants.
